What Is Norwex…And Why Do You Need It

I have been using and selling Norwex products for almost five years now-wow! I used to do way more parties and social events to share the products with others, but lets face it- my current life does not allow for me to be gone every night. I have never stopped using the products, but I definitely stopped sharing them with others, until a few weeks ago when I randomly posted some Norwex magic on my Instagram Story. Much to my surprise, people were interested! I got so many messages and texts asking about the products and how they could get their hands on some, so I figured I would make a post to talk more in-depth about Norwex as a whole.

Let me start by sharing a few important facts:

  1. More than 85,000 chemicals have been created in the past 50 years, and very few of those chemicals have actually been tested for their impact on human health. *
  2. More than 200 chemicals have been found in the cord blood of newborns. **
  3. Indoor air pollution is one of the top five highest-ranking environmental health problems in America today. ***
  4. Roughly nine tons of plastic end up in our oceans and water bodies every year. ****

Those facts are horrifying! If you look under your kitchen sink right now I bet you would find at least 7 different cleaning products that you use frequently to clean different areas of your home. And, if you have little ones in your house, you probably have that cabinet baby-proofed (and rightfully so!) because those products are toxic.

Of course we all know that those products are toxic if ingested, but did you ever stop to think that they might be equally harmful when used everyday. Think about the Windex that you use to clean your sliding glass door. Your little one might not be drinking the Windex (although we know they would try if they had the chance!) but they are likely licking, kissing or putting their goober hands all over that door which later go into their mouths. Or think of the Pledge that you use to dust your kitchen table with. You will likely set food on that table, so now you are serving your nice home-cooked meal with a side of chemicals- YUCK!

Norwex recognized this issue, and has worked hard to develop products that turn your home into a Safe Haven. The idea behind Norwex is simple- reduce chemicals and simplify cleaning. Most of the products that Norwex is known for are their microfiber cloths that do not require chemicals. That’s right, you can clean most of your home with simply water and a microfiber cloth! Norwex Microfiber uses bacloc technology to literally trap 99% of bacteria it comes in contact with. And whats even cooler is it’s self cleaning too! So all of that bacteria is filtrated through the cloth as it dries. If you’re a science nerd and want some data to back this statement up, check out this PDF.

So now that you are intrigued, you’re probably wondering where to start! I would recommend picking one area of your house that you want to focus on first. That could be your kitchen, your bathroom, your laundry routine, or your basic everyday chores. From there, pick one of the bundles that fits your specific goal (see below). Or, if you are frugal with your money like me-I would recommend the basic package (see below).

Packages from right to left (laundry package; kitchen package; breathe clean package; household package plus; safe haven package; basic package)

Jump onto my website to purchase your package today, or if your feeling ambitious, book a Norwex Facebook party with me to earn a TON of FREE products- just send me a message from my Contact page!
